At Santomar®, our strength lies in our people: knowledge, dedication, and a passion that connects us to the sea every day.

Behind every totoaba, pacific snapper, and oyster are people who have made the ocean their life: biologists, technicians, sales and marketing teams, and chefs united by the same vocation.

Sea of Cortez

Very close to La Paz, Baja California Sur, in the deep waters of the Sea of Cortez, we farm our totoaba and pacific snapper using a regenerative aquaculture model that protects the ecosystem.

Laguna San Ignacio, BCS

Part of the El Vizcaíno Biosphere Reserve, recognized by UNESCO, where our oysters feed on phytoplankton and help keep the sea clean by filtering the water.

Oyster sanctuaries, where untouched nature and careful production techniques come together to produce world-class specimens.

At Santomar®, we farm our fish in advanced aquaculture facilities that we call hatcheries:

submersible structures designed to raise them in their natural environment, combining science, technology, and respect for the species and the oceans.
